South-Tex Wine Distributors is a family owned and operated small business.  We pride ourselves on bringing wines to the state of Texas that have never been sold here before.  Our focus is family owned and operated, boutique wineries.  These handcrafted wines come from all over California, France, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, and Germany.   

Steve Struve, President/Owner, has always been a connoisseur of fine wines.  On his frequent trips to the California wine country he discovered many small, boutique wineries that were not available in Texas.  He wanted them and figured there may be a few others in Texas that would enjoy them as well.   He started the business in 1999, and it was a one man show.  He purchased wines, sold to customers, pulled the orders, and personally hand delivered all the orders. 

Our warehouse is centrally located, right outside of College Station, to the three major markets in Texas:  Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, and the Austin/San Antonio area.  We also have wines in a few other Texas markets.  Don’t fret about the Texas heat.  We make sure the wine is refrigerated from the winery to our warehouse, and then to the buyer so the wine is as fresh as when it left the winery!
